Activity 1- Listen up
Draw the students’ attention to the pictures
Get ss to  listen to a dialogue between The sales person and a customer
 Get ss to practise the dialogue in groups ,then  in pairs
Ensure that all ss participate actively

Activity 2 –Let’s try it out
Get ss to work in pairs
Get ss to role play one of the scenes
Tr .provide a script for role play between the sales person and a customer
This is a fun activity to help ss to build confidence amongst ss . Encourage active participation from all students

Activity  1- Trigger your senses
Draw  ss s’ attention to the pictures
Ask  the following questions
What do you see in the picture ?
What are the students talking about ?

Activity 2 – My plan for canteen day
Tell ss that they are going to discuss what they want to sell for canteen day to raise money for their class fund
Get SS to work in groups of five
Each member of the group draws or cuts a picture of a food item  he or she want to sell  from  the magazine or newspapers
Each member decides on the price of his or her item
Get each member of the group to present the item for sale
Encourage other students within the group to ask the following questions during this activity
 .What are you going to sell ?
I am going to sell …………………………………………………………………
 .How many items are you going to sell ?
I am going to sell four items . They are ……………………………………
 . How much does each item cost ?
A tin of coca cola   costs  RM 1.50 ;  a packet of ‘nasi lemak  costs  Rm 2.00 , a bowl of ‘laksa ‘costs Rm 4.00 and etc

This is a fun activity to encourage and build students’ confidence in speaking  the  English Language  and to encourage creatively as well as decision –making skills
